Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

To protect the integrity of our curated collections, rare heritage pieces, exclusive vintage bags, and items marked as Final Sale are strictly non-returnable.

Select general inventory items and specific handcrafted jewelry are eligible for return for boutique credit or exchange only within 3 days of delivery. If 3 days have passed since your purchase was delivered, we cannot offer you an exchange or credit.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be completely unused, unaltered, and in the exact condition that you received it. It must also include all original packaging, dust bags, and any attached authentication tags.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Items explicitly designated as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” in their product description.
  • Custom-sized or personalized handcrafted jewelry.
  • Worn footwear or leather goods with new signs of use or structural alteration.

To complete your return request, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us directly to initiate this process.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Store Credit & Approval Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your return will be processed, and a boutique credit will be issued to you. Because our vintage inventory consists of rare, one-of-a-kind items, we do not issue cash refunds to the original method of payment.

Sale items

Only regular-priced, general inventory items may be exchanged. Sale items, discounted pieces, and items purchased during a promotional event cannot be returned.

Exchanges

Because our heritage pieces are globally sourced and unique, we cannot replace an item with the exact same model. If your item is defective or damaged due to an error on our part, please send us an email immediately at TheBraidedJewel@gmail.com with detailed photos so we can make it right.

Shipping returns

To return an eligible product, you must first email us at TheBraidedJewel@gmail.com to receive approval and our secure Stockton, California return mailing address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are returning high-value items, you must use a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance that covers the full value of the piece. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
